A postcard with the front showing a photograph of Bijou Theatre. The theater was a large brick structure designed by Fuller Claflin and operated as a Paramount theater. The inscription on the side reads "135. Chattanooga, Tenn., Bijou Theatre" and "6-18-'01 C.H.C." is hand written underneath.
From CinemaTreasures.com "The Bijou Theatre opened in 1906. Historic photographs show a large, handsome, brick building of five floors, with stone or plaster detailing in a restrained Classical style. The theatre had two balconies and a large fly tower.
