Description

A trade card with the verso showing an illustration of the Stanton House. The front side is a pointellated illustration of a young Pierrot, singing from sheet music , which reads "au clair de la lune mon ami pierrot (in the moonlight my friend Pierrot in French). A smiling moon looks down at the clown from the top corner as two cats look on from a branch. The background is gold with white stars. The rear reads has an engraved depiction of Stanton House and its front yard. To the left of the illustration lists the proprietors, R. L. Watt and J. D. Beale. Below lists the manager as Col. J. C. Derby.
