Description

A black and white photograph mounted vertically on a cabinet card showing two men sitting in a cabriolet carriage pulled by two brown horses on E. 11th Street. The man on the right is wearing a three-piece suit with a bowler hat while the man at his side is wearing a suit and straw flat top hat. The Customs House and its arched entryway can be seen in the background, with a blurred figure seen ascending the steps. The gutter is printed "Schmedling, 828 Market St., Chattanooga, Tenn." The rear has a lithograph of a gathered bunch of flowers and fern next to an elaborate font that reads "Scmedling Photographer, 828 Market St, Chattanooga, Tenn."
