A stereographic view of the Stanton House on Market Street. The Stereoview card shows the front and side facade of the hotel. The two story entry porch is at center, with full width porches on the side. The card has an orange border with "American Views." on the left side and "Chattanooga, Tenn." on the opposite. The card is titled "9976 Chattanooga, Tenn. Stanton House." on the bottom, right.
The rear of the card has a blue ink stamp that has decorative logos of the photographer and/or publisher. Below the stamp reads "Published by E. & H.T. Anthony & Co. | Emporium of American and Foreign Stereoscopic Views, | Chromos. Albums, Magic Lanterns and slides | 591 Broadway, opposite Metropolitan Hotel, New York."
