Description

Black and white photograph of a group of seven men sitting in an open touring car on the bridge over the tracks of Incline Number 2. The incline's tracks can be seen extending up Lookout Mountain, with the stop for Battlefield Station in the midground. The rail of the bridge they are parked on has several advertisements for animal feed. Two of the men are eating sandwiches and drinking beer. The photograph is marked "Stokes | 8" at bottom left.

Description

Black and white photograph of the Central Passenger Station with carriages parked on side and bicycles parked out front. A police officer in a helmet is on the right, speaking with a man. The Italianate building is two stories with a long, covered awning over the sidewalk, with signs on the corner facing the intersection that reads "Market" and "Union". There is also a sign on the center of the building, above the door that reads "Central | Passenger Station" A label has been pasted on the photograph at bottom, center that reads " Old Central Depot". A tissue paper has been pasted to the back of the photograph.

Description

Black and white photograph of Broad Street when it ended at 9th Street. The Union Depot and train shed sit to the right. Broad Street, center, has street car tracks at center, with cars parked alongside it as well as along the sidewalks with cars driving in between. Broad Street originally terminated at 9th Street until 6 May 1926 when city leaders demolished (evacuated) buildings on land owned by the state of Georgia along 9th to allow Broad Street to continue through.
