A black and white photograph of a man on Sunset Rock developed on a piece of thin iron. The mustachioed man is wearing a three piece suit with a bowler hat and holding an umbrella. The man is standing near the edge of Sunset Rock on the west brow of Lookout Mountain. In the distance, you can see the Point Hotel, under Point Lookout, Moccasin Bend, and Cameron Hill.
The image is a reversed image on tin and attributed to the photographer, J. H. Gaston, one of the few photographers who had a license to develop on tin type in Chattanooga.Photograph Details
