Description

A halftone postcard showing the Signal Mountain Railroad on the tracks at the base of Signal Mountain. The mountain rises in the background behind the train, with train passing. The electric lines that powered the car are seen on both sides of the tracks. The postcard is titled "Signal Mt. R.R., Chattanooga, Tenn. Signal Mt. in Distance" with "I was along here last Sunday" written in blue ink beside it. The note written on the verso reads: "Hello Bernice. How are you tonight I don't remember whether I answered your card or not - I write you again anyway. have every body down there [?] alright- to be [?] here with us we are having some time.
