Description

A color tinted, two-part postcard showing the "General" at the top with a orange and red pennant reading "I am here at Chattanooga Wish You Were Here Too". The image in the top half of the postcard shows the Steam Locomotive at center on tracks with Lookout Mountain in the background. It is titled "The "General" used by Andrew's Raiders, Now on Exhibit, Union Depot." There is a note written in pencil on the rear that reads: "10-26-21 Hello- I am in Chattanooga and wish you could be here too. there is a big crowd and I knew you would have a good time. now if the weather is still nice I may get over to see you some time next week. I may go home this afternoon. Don't know for sure so be good. C"
