Description

A postcard with the front showing two men in a boat on E. 14th Street. Several homes and buildings are in the background with the flood waters up to their front doors. An advertisement panted in the windows of the store at left read "[14th] Street Grocers and Notions" with a Coca-Cola advertising sign hanging from the awning at center. Written on the negative is "East 14th St. | Chattanooga Tenn of Mar 1917 | Feb 1918. " This image is attributed to the 1917 flood.
