Description

A trade card from Miller & Garmany for the Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers. The trade card front features a halftone lithograph of two actors portraying characters in vaguely Asian costuming. Written in cursive at the bottom is "Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers Soap". The opposite side reads "Compliments of Miller & Garmany, Dealers in General Merchandise Fine Wines and Liquors, 230 E. Montgomery Ave., Chattanooga, Tenn. Amalgamated Soap is beyond all doubt the best and purest goods on the American market" and is dated 1886 at the top right.
