A postcard with the front showing a photograph of the Gordon Lee Mansion in downtown Chickamauga, Georgia. The house was built by slave labor from 1840-1847 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Typed on the verso is "This is the former home of the Hon. Gordon Lee Representative from the 7th Congressional District for 21 years. This hom[e] was built before the Civil War and was used as a hospital during the Chickamauga battle. Mr. Lee died Nov. 9, 1927. This home is apparently as good as it as when it was built."
