Description

A black and white photograph mounted on a cabinet card showing a class photograph. The photograph features four rows of young girls and boys of varying ages, some standing and some sitting. There are several girls kneeling in the front who have short hair, likely cut following fever. The teacher, identified as a Miss Fletcher, is standing at right. She is wearing a black dress with white dots across the bodice and a back bustle with a tall, brimless hat. Geraldine Anderson is identified as standing far right, second row with her teacher's hand on her shoulder. The group is standing in front of a background but a tree trunk can be seen in the far right. The rear of the photograph reads "Geraldine Anderson, Teacher Miss Fletcher & classmates". The photograph is attributed to the Cleveland, Tennessee area.
