The woman is wearing a dark dress with a ruffled skirt and a brimmed cloche hat with ribbons on the peek. The man is wearing a three piece suit with a dark, patterned tie. They are seated behind a painted backdrop. The photograph is embossed "Brazelton's Studio, 513 1/2 E. 9th Street, Chattanooga" at the right bottom corner but a portion is cut off.
