The electric lines that powered the car are seen on both sides of the tracks. The postcard is titled "Signal Mt. R.R., Chattanooga, Tenn. Signal Mt. in Distance" with "I was along here last Sunday" written in blue ink beside it.
The note written on the verso reads:
"Hello Bernice. How
are you tonight I
don't remember whether
I answered your card
or not - I write you
again anyway. have
