Dan F. Adams was a leading businessman in the village of Beaver, Ohio in the early 1900s. He was born in Marion Township in 1872. He worked as a miller, at the Beaver Flour Mill, operated a saloon in the village, and owned stock in the Beaver Furniture Company. Yet, he was best known as a longtime operator of Adams Dry Goods on east Main Street. It was there that he died in 1937. Mrs. Adams was born Mary Viola Davis, daughter of Erastus and Mary Ann Fout Davis in 1856. She was a sister to George Omer Davis, the villages long time undertaker and furniture dealer. Mary passed away in Beaver in 1959.Collection
