Description

1883 Holy Bible from the Summit Hill community near Waverly, Ohio. Believed to have been presented to George Easterday by his parents Albert and Barbara Easterday on Christmas Day 1883. George (1861-1919) married Mary Harriet Fletcher (1863-1955) in Pike County in 1883. Young George grew up in Huntington Township in Ross County where Summit Hill was located. In adulthood he moved to Waverly where he is buried at Evergreen Union Cemetery.
