Description

George F. Haubeil, aged 81, a Springfield Township farmer and member of the Farm Bureau, died Saturday, 8 PM at his residence on Route Six, and funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, 12:30 PM, from the Ware Funeral Home. He had been ill for three years. George was born October 21, 1862 in Pike County Ohio, the son of Christopher and Sophie Haubeil. He married, on March 1, 1891, Katherine “Kate” Farney, who survives. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Waverly. Mrs. Katherine “Kate” Farney Haubeil, age 95 widow of George F. Haubeil, died at 9:30 PM Thursday at her residence, at 516 McKellar St., following in illness of several months. She was the daughter of Christian and Mary Pabst Farney, She was born in Beaver, Ohio on October 13, 1860. She was married on March 1, 1891, and she and her husband observed their 50th wedding anniversary in 1941. Hale was a member of Salem E & R Church. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Waverly, Ohio.
