The double saddlebag is made of deerskin, lined with plain muslin, and is adorned with lazy-stitched beadwork panels over each side and long deerskin fringe (longest length 20"). The two side panels are decorated with matching geometric design patterns. The patterns are on a white background, within an outside box/line border (navy) and having interior "grid" lines (rust/red). Designs include : the center vertical line with eight small triangles (periwinkle blue); surrounded by symmetrical sides of vertically running triangles/diamonds with inner boxes (navy, yellow, rust/red and green boxes). The center is plain hide, having a beadwork border in box/rectangle motifs (green, clay/red, light blue).
