Yosemite Falls, California

The mountain is near vertical with rugged and contrasting light to medium toned layers of rock (largely running vertically). A great spraying waterfall begins at the upper right (in cropped view), runs behind a diagonal rock crevice, and appears again in a smoother, contained flow at the lower left of the picture plane. Evergreens and brush cling to the crevices and breaks in the mountainside, and a horizontal line of leafed trees runs along the bottom/foreground picture plane.
