Description

An ornately carved planter, in gold finish by the studio of Polly-Wood Holland which was completed in 2013. Part of a pair with P2012.000.109. The planter sits on a tri pod base, on turned and tapered legs, with a circular disk in the middle and bowl shape at the top for holding plants. These planters were made by the Woodcarver's Guild, England, for the restoration of Mai Coe's bedroom, and based off of archival photgraphs pf her original bedroom in the early 1920's.
