A print of Marie Sklodowska Curie (1867-1934) one of the first female scientists to win worldwide fame. Winer of two Nobel prizes for Physics in 1903 and Chemistry in 1911, she performed pioneering studies with radium and contributed profoundly to radioactivity. She was the wife of French physicist Pierre Curie, beside her in the print, (1859-1906). Part of a series of eight prints with P2012.000.010-P2012.000.017.Collection
