Large rococo style oil painting by Everett Shinn titled "Ladies on a Swing", originally installed in Mai's bathroom. Composition is of a lush green forest scene. Three ladies in 18th Century period clothing all swing from one swing, depicted in motion. Man in a white wig, with red cape, black face mask, and white stockings spies unnoticed to the left. Statuary in background, and foreground, along with basket of flowers and blue blanket. Painted blue satin curtain trimmed with gold fringe and tassels frames the scene on top and halfway down along the sides where it falls.Artwork Details
