Joyce Zucker examined in 1996 and reported that it is stable, with cosmetic problems. Surface glass is irregular. There is a strong prominent vertical thread to the right of center. There is discolored retouching visible in the upper right quadrant of canvas. Dark, discolored varnish has been left during a previous cleaning down in the interstiles between the warp and weft threads.Valuations
