An antique leather style oversize book. Gold gilded perimeter and binding details, with a red background and two diamond aplique shapes. Purchased during the rehabilitation of Mr. Coe's bedroom to replicate the oversize books originally in his bedroom. Mr. Coe was an avid reader and book collector, and had the most comprehensive Americana rare books and manuscripts in the country during the early 1900s. He bequethed his collection to Yale Univeristy after his death in 1955.Collection
