Carved oak press cupboard, having flat-carved design work overall, incorporating various Gothic motifs, including stylized tulip and pelican, with thumb-print molding. The stylized flower and running vine with carved pelicans incorporated at the ends of the running vine or at the base of the flowering vine. The cupboard is in two parts: the upper section with overhanging cornice, over carved frieze, suspending ball finials at each end, centered by two carved-panel doors, these doors centered by a carved, recessed-arch panel; the outset lower section with two intricately carved doors, with applied wrought iron butterfly hinges, the whole supported on the thumb-print mold side stiles, continung to feet.
