A Canton enamel-on-copper charger, having a central landscape scene showing a group of Elders or Scholars in multileveled garden, the sky showing bats flying and a vase of flowers with fishing pole, suspending a fish - all symbolic and auspicious signs; the whole with abundantly foliate-decorated rim edge, against yellow round; the reverse with solid celadon color with blue scroll decoration. Supported by a intricately carved wooden stand.Collection
