Rug got wet from leak from fireplace - trough meant to catch rainwater overflowed, flowing out into room. No visible damage from water. Lifted up rug to allow airflow underneath because rug mat was damp, significant mildew smell came up. Put two fans in room to dry off and will reassess tomorrow morning.
