Chippendale-style carved and inlaid tall case clock, with moulded "broken scroll" cornice, and three turned "spike-and-sphere" finials; arcaded pediment, with slended reeded columns, above a conforming, recessed and glazed door; painted clock face inscribed "JNO. WEBSTER, SHREWBURY" and capped with a moon-phase dial; the body fitted with serpentine-top door and applied oval panel, flanked by reeded quarter-round corner columns; oval-paneled base with chamfered corners, bracket feet.Collection
