One of two William and Mary upholstered "great" chairs, having an arches upholstered back, deeply and bodly carved arm rests, ending in bold, carved, curved knobby hand rests, supported on ring-turned and tapered trumpet-shaped stiles, over-upholstered seat, set on four block and turned legs, front ring-turned stretcher, and bold, turned "H"-stretchered base.
