One of two William and Mary upholstered "great" chairs, having arches upholstered back, deeply and boldly carved arm rests, ending in bold, carved, curved knobby hand rests, supported on ring-turned and tapered trumpet-shaped stiles, over-upholstered seat, set on four block and turned legs, front ring-turned stretcher, and bold, turned "H"-stretchered base.
