Baroque-style chair, of oak, painted black, having ornately carved back with crown and scroll motif, over a central caned section, wtih crown and scroll-carved surround, the side stiles blocked and spiral turned, the arm rests having foliate carving, supported by spiral carved and blocked stiles continuing to legs, cross-hatched design on seat rails, caned seat over bold, ornately carved front stretcher, also with crown and scroll motif, "H"-stretchered base with block and spiral turned motif. Feet have been "ended-out".Collection
