A William and Mary "Great" chair, made of oak, having a sunflower and foliate carved crest rail and lower back rail, centered by a caned back panel, with an octagonal block-and-spiral-turned stile, curved arm rests, on spiral and blocked arm supports, caned seat, cross-hatched seat rail, double level sprial stretchered base, the upper level having box stretchers, the lower level having "H" stretchers, each leg ending in button feet.Collection
