One of two gilt and painted wood Georgian open arm chairs, in the manner of Robert Adam, having ornately carved wood frame with floral and bell flower hand-painted design in grey-green ground with gilt accents, the top back crest rail with ring-turned and tapered form, centered by inset cartouche-shaped panel with foliate-painted design, over a delicate, pierced lyre-back splat, the arms gracefully descending to knob-end, tapered fluted arm supports, slightly bowed caned seat, centered by foliate painted floral spray, supported on delicate turned and out-turned tapered, fluted legs.
