Description

A 2.5 pint teapot with hinged lid, from the Tiffany & Co. Georgian style tea and coffee service. Silver-soldered, in Rococo style. Lid is domed, with cast foliate finial. Lobed body, foliate spout, curved handle, circular pedestal base with gadrooned edge. "MRC" engraved on side, for "Mai Rogers Coe." On bottom stamped "Tiffany & Co., Makers, Silver-Soldered-EP" (?) Moved from Louis XVI Reception Room Tea Service to Storage, by Henry B. Joyce, 12. 2008
