Description

Tall, sterling silver shaker from Tiffany & Co., similar to the Georgian / Rococo service set, but with different decorative banding. Band is wider, a deeper repousse', with a scrolling foliate motif. Shaker stands on circular pedestal base, has wide body narrowing to top, capped with a foliate finial. Holes form decorative cross shapes. Engraved on body in fancy script "MRC". Stamped on bottom "Tiffany & Co., 8140 - Makers - 7081, Sterling Silver, 925 - 1000"
