Description

Cloisonne' brass vase with varicolored floral and foliate motifs and banding (green, blue, black, red, orange) over lavender field. Vase has flared rim, tapered neck, bulbous body and flared base. Finely hand-etched into brass bottom: "+ EX - DONO J - XPR - YANEK OSB D.G. DECANUS - CONSORTI S. CRUCIS - "h = ROOD," CIVIT - n = EBOR - "PLANTING - FIELDS" U - BROOKVILLE, N = EB - 13 MaII, a. D. MCMLXXXII"
