A mid-late 17th Century oak Charles II panel-back open armchair, having a carved, curviate-top crest rail, beaded-edge side stiles, with arabesque and foliate-carved central panel, curved arm rest, with ring-turned arm supports, plank seat over molded, straight-edge skirt frieze, supported on block-and-ring-turned front legs, ending in square block feet, simple back legs, ring-turned front stretcher and simple side-stretchers.
