[W1] Stained glass windowpane with fragmented Tudor Rose in yellow, red, and blue. Circular yellow center within a white circle, with red leaves within a ring of alternating blue and yellow bands around "H". Panel is bordered, and background done is uniform diamond shape cut. Originates from Hever Castle in Edenbridge, Kent, England. Taken from a nine piece lancelet triptych featuring a Noblewoman, Nobleman, Bishop, Tudor Roses, and floral designs.Cataloged By

Notes: Panels [W] 1-5, 8, 13-15 purchased February 1924 from collection of Roy Grosvenor Thomas, labeled "9 pieces of Hever Castle". The nine panels were to fit in a bay with space for three lancets. Tudor Rose Used as recurring motif to create unity.Created By
