Italian Rennaisance Carved walnut Cassone lift-top chest with oblong top and molded edge. panel front with cartouche, foliate and blossom relief, flanked by caryatid figures. Gadrooned base molding supported on animal paw feet.

Baroque Style Cassone, partly 17th Cnetury, having a straight, molded edge lift top, with interior candle box compartment, the front with foliate carved panel with stylized gadrooned edge surround. Flanked on each side by half-round carved caryatids, plain side panels, all above deeply molded gadroon carved molding surround. The whole set on carved animal paw feet.
