[W6] Stained glass shield panel three rabbits etched in red-flashed glass ground on right half opposed to horizontal bands of alternating clear and red glass on the remaining half. Modern replacement made from fragments of original shield.

Installed within a protective glazing frame, which is fixed to a rectangular quarry window doubling as a vent. The steel portion of the vent should be examined for maintenance needs (rust). W8 is reinforced horizontally with two flat rebars soldered to the lead at joints, placed at the top and bottom of the protective glazing frame. Three rebars run horizontally across panel. Plexiglas behind panel has 14 holes pierced around frame for circulation, has become opaque.

Scope of work: Clean and treat the steel struction against rust.
Remove the protective glazing sheet in order to assess the glass condition on the back. Replace Plexiglas. Clean frame. In situ regular maintenance of quarries.

Panels 1-5, 8, 13-15 purchased February 1924 from collection of Roy Grosvenor Thomas, labeled "9 pieces of Hever Castle". The nine panels were to fit in a bay with space for three lancets.
