No. 9
Front view of the chapel in which
the belfry does not appear. A side walk
is in the foreground. Virginia looks
almost devout, but in spite of her
serious expression, she is responsible
for my amusement as she uttered a
most absurd remark just under her breath
and in a way to avoid a mark of
breach of silence. The boxes and sticks
are for morning glories, and the vine
in the gable is a Virginia Creeper.
The steps lead up to the back porch.
