Description

Small oak butter paddle that belonged to the DeCrow family.

Context

This paddle belonged to Mary Ann Ramsey DeCrow and was donated by her daughter Vona Deliliah DeCrow Donald in 1953. Our collection also contains 24 annual diaries of John Brooks DeCrow, Morgan Township farmer and Mary Ann’s husband, spanning 31 years from 1859 to 1890.
