Walnut burl candleholder from the 1904 St. Lous World's Fair. The candleholder is capped by a pearl or clamshell lid that, when opened, reveals a glass inset to hold the candle stick. Text on the cap reads: "World's Fair St. Louis." However, St. Louis is mostly illegible.Context
