On December 7, 1991, the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra televised their Christmas Concert. It began with a series of orchestral pieces, and then included the national touring company of Amahl and the Night Visitors; an opera that was celebrating it's 40th anniversary. Amahl and the Night Visitors follows a young shepherd whose family is poor because he cannot tend the sheep. The three wise men visit him on their way to see baby Jesus and heal his legs.Collection
