Description
Short-sleeved shirt from a baseball uniform worn by a member of the Portsmouth Navy Yard team. Shirt is gray with navy blue pinstripes with applied blue letters "PNY" and an anchor on the proper left side. There is blue piping around the collar and placket with five buttons, and blue trim around the sleeves and neck. Label sewn into collar reads: "SPORTING & ATHLETIC GOODS / THOS. E. WILSON & CO. CHICAGO / U.S.A. / MANUFACTURES" with a strip of off-white fabric underneath, presumably for a name to be written on.
