Small lidded container, featuring polychrome image of JPJ on removable lid and “Whitehaven” on each side of the body, Whitehaven Pottery, England, twentieth or twenty-first century. Underside of lid marked “WHITEHAVEN / POTTERY”; bottom of container with ‘JOHN PAUL JONES” / 1747-1792 / FATHER OF / THE AMERICAN NAVY.” Unclear if this is from the historic Whitehaven Pottery or the revival that started in 2002; probably the latter.Collection
