A Minton platter, in a blue Delft style. meant to hold a soup tureen in center well. The layout of the plate is similar to that of the dinner plates and rim soup bowls that are also in this pattern. In the center of the platter is a flower basket, and around the edge are floral decoration. The plate does not have as defined a well at the edge as the other two pieces, but rather a lip farther towards the center, in order to define a location for a soup tureen base.Collection
