Four of six small ceramic plates with polychrome images of colonial revival Revolutionary themes, with brown rim and edging of blue stars, with text. This one depicts Washington crossing the Delaware and says; "December 26, 1776. The Continental Army, under the command of General George Washington, crosses the Delaware River at night at Trenton, New Jersey and deals a severe blow to British troops. Each marked on back “Made in Japan” and “[copyright] 0.0.1. 1975.” Diam. 6 1/8 in. NB: low quality ceramics, most fitted with added hanger. Additional text: “WARNING / FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES ONLY. NOT TO BE USED FOR SERVING FOODS.”Collection
