Round plate with recessed center, decorated edge, and decoration and inscriptions in blue. Inscriptions: In blue, "Saint John's Lodge, No. 1, F. and A.M. / Portsmouth, New Hampshire" at top; "1736 1836 / Two Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary" below; with Lodge seal at proper right and state of New Hampshire seal at proper left; with image of Lodge meeting room at center and motto "Toward the East" below. On bottom: "Made expressly for / St. John's Lodge / Portsmouth, New Hampshire" with "Old English Staffordshire Ware / [mark with] "JONROTH / ENGLAND" in border; with "MADE IN STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND" below
