Rectangular polychrome blanket, with black and white fringe at sides and polychrome fringe at top and bottom, with panels depicting Portsmouth scenes: top panel, running full width, depicts South End; central panel with "Portsmouth / New / Hampshire" with image of North Church and horse and buggy below; left side panels, top to bottom, "Children's Museum / of Portsmouth"; " "SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER"; "STRAWBERY BANKE" / [lighthouse]; right side panels, top to bottom, "PRESCOTT PARK"; "JOHN PAUL JONES HOUSE"; [Music Hall]; [tugboats].
Signed lower right in red: "M W / 53" although numbers are not clearly articulated,
The Dunaway Store was moved to Strawbery Banke in 1967 and helps date this piece, although the inscription is hard to read,
